We're a husband and wife team with a love for the outdoors and a desire to share this with others. Being outside is our happy place, and we've found that it can be the best way to connect with others and find renewed perspective.
We became guides because we enjoy teaching people, sharing new places to explore, and creating meaningful experiences on the water. To us, every day spent fishing is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with what matters.
We took our background in hospitality and combined it with our love of the outdoors to we bring an attention to detail and personal touch to every trip. For us, it’s about more than fishing. It’s creating an experience you’ll remember long after the trip is done.
Nick Freeman

Nick grew up in North Carolina and learned to fish at a young age from his grandmother. Since then, he's spent countless hours exploring the outdoors through fishing, camping, hiking, and paddling.
As a guide, Nick loves introducing people to fly fishing and helping anglers build confidence on the water.
Sara Freeman
Owner, Guide
Originally from Florida, Sara made her way to North Carolina and quickly fell in love with the mountains, rivers, and changing seasons. Her passion for the outdoors and adventure is what led her to fly fishing.
As a guide, Sara enjoys helping guests unplug and enjoy time on the water. Whether someone is picking up a fly rod for the first time or returning to a favorite river, she loves creating experiences that help people connect with nature and each other.
