MONTANA FLY FISHING TRIP
Montana Recap | October 8-15, 2026
This fall, we explored the best of the west in Ennis, MT. Along with a group of fellow anglers, we spent a week fishing along the idyllic Madison River, visited Yellowstone National Park and took in the natural beauty of Montana. Most importantly, we connected with new friends in one of the most scenic fly fishing destinations.
The Fishing
The week was spent fishing the scenic Madison River and the Firehole and Gibbon Rivers within Yellowstone National Park. Scheduled fishing days provided opportunities to explore these wild waters together on foot or enjoy incredible float trips led by the knowledgeable guides at Madison River Fishing Company.
The Experience
Based in Ennis, Montana, our home for the week was a comfortable shared house perfect for unwinding after long days on the water. Ennis is a great home base for a Montana fishing trip, with a small-town feel, local shops, restaurants and easy access to some incredible trout water.
